BURSARIES FOR ATTENDANCE AT ACAMH NATIONAL CONFERENCES
ACAMH is committed to making its national conferences as accessible as possible to its membership. In keeping with our policy of promoting awareness, knowledge and practice related to child and adolescent mental health, the Association has established a Bursary Grant for each of its national conferences. The Bursary is available to ACAMH members who work in less developed countries with limited access to relevant conferences / financial resources, and is designed to ensure that these members have the opportunity to access the latest developments in research and practice in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. The Bursary will cover travel, accommodation and admission to the conference and successful applicants will be expected to disseminate their learning and new knowledge locally when they return.
Applications are invited from ACAMH members who meet the criteria and can show that attendance would benefit the practice of child and adolescent mental health in their country as well as their own professional development. Applications should be addressed to Ingrid King, Executive Director at the ACAMH Head Office.
