Membership Benefits

The Association supports this diversity of membership both through its low annual subscription fee, making ACAMH accessible to all those wishing to join, as well as by offering a range of benefits.

Over the last twelve months alone the following additional benefits have been introduced:
  • an increase to monthly publication of the Journal for Child Psychology and Psychiatry
  • a re-design and interactive website, which features events calendar, branch discussion forums, delegate booking forms and direct access to the Wiley/Blackwells Synergy Site and which will be developing further as a CAMHS resource for members
  • appointment of an Events Co-ordinator to support the branch network and plan more local conferences

These combine with the other benefits currently provided through annual membership:

  • updates on research and developments within child and adolescent mental health
  • quarterly issues of Child and Adolescent Mental Health, which provides a forum for the exchange of clinical experience, ideas and research
  • quartlery issues of The Bridge newsletter
  • electronic acces to JCPP, CAMH and The Bridge through the link with Synergy
  • early notification of events and concessionary rates at ACAMH's meetings and conferences
  • reduced rates on certain Wiley/Blackwell publications, both books and journals such as Child:Care, Health and Development
  • special rate on conference facilities at ACAMH's head office in London

The Association is committed to continuing to support its members and the wider community and is therefore investigating the following additional benefits:

  • extending the early online availability of its publications
  • email based notification of abstracts from JCPP and CAMH
  • interactive database system to enable members to update their details and subscribe online
  • online conference booking facility
  • further reductions on a broader range of Blackwells publications
  • a reciprocal journal/membership arrangement with other organisations
