London and South East Branch, Day Conference
Date: 28 April 2010
Time: 0900- 1600
Venue: The Royal Geographical Society, 1 Kensington Gore, London SW7 2AR
About the Conference The welfare of children remains very much to the fore of our minds - as parents, as concerned citizens, and as professionals working to find the least bad outcome for young people in sometimes very difficult family circumstances.
This conference brings together eminent researchers, multi-disciplinary professionals from diverse backgrounds, and young people and adoptive families who have lived through the impact of care and adoption. Professor Mike Stein and Dr Jill Hodges open the day's proceedings with an overview of their pioneering work and this more clinical and academic start is balanced by the series of practical and interactive workshops which form the remainder of the day. Presenting many valuable opportunities to explore the ideas generated, expand on personal ideas, share and learn from each other, this conference is relevant to all.
Fees ACAMH Member £65 Non-Member £80
